Desoto Falls Trail - Great hike alongside Frogtown Creek to the middle falls. Lower falls are near the trailhead.
Dick's Creek Falls - Walk alongside Dick's Creek to the Chattooga River and Dicks Creek Falls.
Disney Trail - Steep and challenging, this trail offers some scenic views and area history.
Dockery Lake Trail - Acceess to the Appalachian Trail. Dockery Lake, at the trailhead offers fishing and camping.
Dukes Creek Falls Trail - On the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway, the trail follows a series of switchbacks to beautiful Dukes Creek Falls
Duncan Ridge Trail - One of the most difficult trails east of the Mississippi, this footpath features long, near vertical scrambles over rock and steep rises
East Palisades - Loop trail circles a Chattahoochee National Recreation Area park on and above the river.
Emery Creek Trail - From North Georgia's Cohutta Loop, this trail drops hundreds of feet to Emery Creek.
Eyes on Wildlife Trail - Fun loop trail that was poorly marked the last time we hiked it.
Falls Branch Falls - Follows a section of the Benton MacKaye Trail to a side trail leading to Falls Branch Falls.
Fort Mountain Loop - Popular loop at the top of Fort Mountain allowing access to the enimatic rock wall and lookout tower
Glen Falls - Fairly level walk to a high mountain falls on Lookout Mountain
Gold Branch Trail - Explores the shores of Bull Sluice above Morgan Falls Dam and climbs into the Chattahoochee watershed
Grassy Mountain Tower Trail - Energetic hike to a lovely view of the Cohutta Wilderness from a fire tower.
Helton Creek Falls - Brief hike through a cool mountain cove to two waterfalls, both of which are on Helton Creek. An observation deck has recently been added in the area of the second falls.
Hemlock Falls Trail - Great hike alongside a gurgling stream to a pretty waterfall.
Hidden Pond Songbird Trail - Trail developed to encourage wildlife and waterfowl viewing, including multiple blinds along a beaver pond.
Horse Trough Falls Trail - This brief leg-stretch is marked by the first bridge across the Chattahoochee River
Jacks Knob Trail - Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps as access to Brasstown Bald, this trail climbs to the top of Wolfpen Ridge.

Johns Mountain Trail - One of three trails in The Pocket, Johns' Mountain follows a high ridge south, finally leaving the ridge and falling to the upper Keown Falls viewing platform
Johnson Ferry Trail - Explores a flood plain of the Chattahoochee River
Jones Bridge (Chattahoochee National Recreation Area) - This relatively flat, wide trail climbs two low ridges, explores 2 flood plains and follows the Kennesaw Mountain Road - Paved road allows access to the top of Kennesaw Mountain walking or by car on weekdays and by bus on weekends.
Kennesaw Mountain Trail - The mountain trail climb 1000 feet in just over a mile, past trenches, old roads and original Civil War embankments
Keown Falls Trail - Loop hike to the high-mountain Keown Falls.
Kolb's Farm Loop - Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park loop trail from Cheatham Hill Road to Kolb's Farm across hilly terrain.
Laurel Ridge Trail - Explores the ridge that forms the east side of Lake Lanier, and allows access to Bowman's Island Unit of the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area
Logan Turnpike - At first easy, the last mile climb to the Appalachian Trail is difficult.
Long Creek Falls - Follows the Appalachian Trail to the blue blazed Long Creek Falls side trail.
Mathis Trail - A 1.0 mile hike that takes you through a diverse hardwood forest and crosses Elachee Creek
Mill Shoals Trail - Mill Shoals is actually a fun trail, without a lot of hard walking or scenic views.
Minnehaha Falls - Short hike to 60 foot falls
Mountaintown Creek Trail - Trail follows Mountain Creek to the Cohutta Loop.
Newtown Trail - Newtown Trail explores a lowland river and high overlook that held the overflow during Council Meetings at the Cherokee Capital of New Echota
Oak Ridge Nature Trail - Scenic trail along a ridge overlooking Carters Lake
Oxbo Trail - Explores the north end of the oxbow in Vickery (Big) Creek, then climbs Hog Waller Creek to a historic Roswell park
Panther Creek Trail - Challenging point-to-point hike past smaller falls, cascades and Panther Creek Falls.
Picketts Mill - Hiking trails that explore important areas of the Battle of Picketts Mill
Pocket Trail - Deep in the Pocket, a geological formation, this recreation area features hiking, camping, and picnicking. Nearby Lake Marvin has some great fishing.
Raven Cliff Falls Trail - Trail follows Dodd Creek to Raven Cliff Falls. Multiple falls and cascades make this an enjoyable hike.
Red Cockaded Woodpecker Trail - Visits habitat of the endangered Red Cockaded Woodpecker
Rocktown Trail - A strange, almost eerie, series of rock structures that appear to be an organized community
Savannah and Ogeechee Canal - This level walk is a trip deep into Georgia's history by an antebellum canal
Slaughter Creek Trail - Probably the easiest access trail to the AT in Georgia, hikers use it for access to Blood Mountain
Smith Creek Trail - The trail runs near the ridge top of Smith Mountain and follows, but does not come near, Smith Creek.
Songbird Trail - Fun trail for the diversity of birds and for the interesting beaver dams.
Sosebee Cove - Loop trail through diverse north-facing cove near Vogel State Park.
Southern Terminus Approach Trail - Access path to the Southern Terminus of the Appalachian Trail on Springer Mountain.
Springer Mountain - Shortest access path to the top of Springer Mountain, this trail has scenic views, shelter and privy.

Stone Mountain Loop - Stone Mountain Loop takes visitors around the mountain, and within a few feet of a majority of the attractions
Stone Mountain Mountaintop Trail - Climbs to the top of Stone Mountain, largest piece of exposed granite in the world
Suwanee Greenway - Interpreted multi-use trail that follows Suwanee Creek
Sweetwater Blue - Takes an inland route to the ruins of the cotton mill, then takes a second inland route to Sweetwater Creek Falls
Sweetwater Red - Great historic walk past the Factory Shoals ruins of the ghost town of Manchester, Georgia.
Sweetwater White - Wanders along a ridge, then plunges to Sweetwater Creek River Valley
Tallulah Gorge Loop Trail - Exciting hike into the 600 ft deep gorge. Kayaking and in-gorge hiking are allowed with permit
Tearbritches Trail - From FS68 in the Cohutta Wilderness, Tearbritches Trail travels 3.4 miles to the Conasauga River Trail near Panther Creek
Tribble Mill Park Trail - Follows a paved loop trail around the east end of Ozora lake. Many unpaved paths join this trail for hiking and mountain biking opportunities
