Trail reports for Vickery Creek Trail Complex

Overall rating: 4 Scenic rating: 3 Difficulty rating: 3 This is one of my favorite trails in the metro Atlanta area. It has some good hills and feels fairly secluded and remote, which is amazing considering it is right in the heart of Roswell. The trails aren't that challenging, but they do have some decent little hills and it is not flat. The scenery gets a bonus for the waterfall.

Overall rating: 4 Scenic rating: 4 Difficulty rating: 2 very nice trail. have been going here for years. canoe access to the hooch along with amature rock climbing and lots of trails means when the parking lot is full you can still have a peaceful walk with lots of space. The waterfall is nice next to the ruins of an old mill. There are also numerous benches to rest on as there are a few trial with steep slopes.

Overall rating: 5 Scenic rating: 4 Difficulty rating: 3 This trail is close to my home and the area that I take my weekly power walks along the river. The first time I hiked this trail was with my son and our dogs. To my surprise, I came upon a waterfall. My son and I took a break to enjoy the watefall, and I took a picture of my son with my cell phone and it is a beautiful, peaceful picture that I will cherish forever. I have been back quite a few times since. This is a good, modeerate hike, and I often take my two minpins.

Overall rating: 4 Scenic rating: 4 Difficulty rating: 2 It's a great place to get your hiking fix if you can't get further north. The scenery is cool in that there are a few historic spots and a waterfall flowing over an old dam. Other than that, I wouldn't go for the scenery.
