Overall rating: 5 Scenic rating: 5 Difficulty rating: 5 Sliding Rock trail into the gorge was incredible, but tough. Sliding down the waterfall was well worth the hike. The rim trails were easy but offered beautiful scenery.

Overall rating: 5 Scenic rating: 5 Difficulty rating: 3 Tallulah Gorge is beautiful!! Views are breath taking. A lot of stairs! The trail is always packed with people. Weekends are especially bad. Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center is very informative.

Overall rating: 5 Scenic rating: 5 Difficulty rating: 4 Great scenic hike! Great exploring! If you're looking for a high mileage hike, try something else, but if you want to explore, take a dip, and see geographic features unlike anthing else in Georgia, then DO THIS HIKE! I was amazed at how unique and fun this hike was. Take a nap on some rocks by the creek while you're down there too- AMAZING!

Overall rating: 5 Scenic rating: 5 Difficulty rating: 1 There are two parts to this trail the north rim and the south rim. The north rim trail is very beautiful and sports a resourceful recycled tire walkway for several yards to enjoy the first few overlooks. More woodsy than the south rim. The south rim trail is more high elevation with higher overlooks but it is shorter and it ends with a nice big rock to sit on and enjoy the gorge and a little of what it has to offer.

Overall rating: 5 Scenic rating: 4 Difficulty rating: 5 Loved the hike. My calves were sure sore the next day though! The only part I didn't like was the suspension bridge. I love to hike, but don't like bridges, especially ones that I have to walk over. :-) It was really pretty even though we had had lots of rain the two days before and the water was pretty muddy.

Overall rating: 5 Scenic rating: 5 Difficulty rating: 4 This is a fun trail, and be prepared to get wet if you access the gorge floor, which I suggest. It is not really physically demanding (until you reach the sliding rock trail), but the terrain is demanding. Lots of traversing very slippery rocks and water. The gorge floor full trail is shorter than we thought. We were told it would take 4 hours, and we made it in 3, with an hour spent swimming in the Bridal Veil falls.

Overall rating: 5 Scenic rating: 5 Difficulty rating: 3 This is a pretty loop hike into the Gorge and out. The falls are an excellent summer swimming destination - you can slide down them! However, call the Tallulah Office before you go because they have MANY rules about going into the Gorge (type of shoes you have to wear, # permits issued, cut-off time for issuing permits, etc.).
