Overall rating: 5 Scenic rating: 5 Difficulty rating: 3 Delightful trail close to home. Lost the trail near the laser show lawn - some detour - poorly marked and had to take to the road.

Overall rating: 4 Scenic rating: 3 Difficulty rating: 2 This trail is great for breaking a sweat, whether walking, jogging or biking. Also great for building stamina and aerobic burning. The undulating terrain makes it a lot easier on the knees.

Overall rating: 3 Scenic rating: 4 Difficulty rating: 3 A very nice hike around Stone Mountain. The nice part about it was the pece and quiet once you got only a couple hundred yards past the parking areas, and the scenery around the lake and back side of the mountain is super. Downside is the numerous entry points where families and others will join the trail for a short while, becoming fairly crowded.
All and all a very nice hike close to home.

Overall rating: 4 Scenic rating: 3 Difficulty rating: 2 September 21st and 22nd - I walked with 15 other women while training for the Atlanta Breast Cancer 3-Day. We did 19 miles the first day (4 times around the mountain) and 16.16 the second. We camped at Stone Mountain Saturday night on a lovely lake. Very pleasant, easy and mostly level walk.
