Overall rating: 3 Scenic rating: 3 Difficulty rating: 3 June 06- Very nice trail and is well kept with new bridges and nice places to sit and observe nature. One note... upon reaching the lower area there were no markings to indicate Laurel Ridge Trail. My daughter and I did continue on a trail found at the river but were unsure whether it was the same trail. Saw two deer while hiking.

Overall rating: 3 Scenic rating: 3 Difficulty rating: 1 Nice trail but it doesn't stray far from the road system. We saw 3 other couples and a single trail runner so it was pretty peaceful. Parking is not past the trailhead on the right, it is instead on the left. Since it's a loop trail, you can cross Buford Dam Road and begin that way or start on the side you parked on and take the loop clockwise instead.
