This can be hard to get to with the wrong car. Not much of a hike but the falls are nice.

If this hike was any shorter it wouldnt rank as a hike. the short walk is located art the back of the upper chattahoochee camp ground with is 5 miles down a fs road witch makes a long little drive... but well worth it!!!LAST HIKED 9/10/06

Easy walk to the falls. Also great camping with paid spaces and unpaid fire pits this one of the best trails in Georgia and I have been camping here for over six years. Very close to Helen for supplies and Park Rangers make regualar trips to check on everybody. Sometimes a logging trail will open and you can find older campsites along the Appalachain trail and a rarley seen view of the Chattahoochee river valley.

Not a bad hike. Not long enough though. Went there during a freezing cold winter storm in the snow. That was cool! Great water features.

Beautiful falls. We camp the primitive sites very frequently throughout the year, even this last January in below freezing temp. If you follow the creek over the first bridge, it comes to a small canyon with some nice waterfalls, a canyon, and shute. If you climb the rock face up to the summit, you find yourself in a very spiritual place
