Beautiful hike to the Falls in Lake Burton area. Easy hike. Nice falls at the end of the trail. Not too crowded the day we did the hike.

There's a sign from the highway to Hemlock Falls Trailhead, and parking right behind the sign. Do not park there, but follow the signs to the game station, drive past it, and the dirt road ends in a parking lot and big rock engraved with Hemlock Falls. If you park at the lot by the highway, you have to hike the loop trail until you hit the dirt road, then hike up the dirt road -- there is no signage to keep you from doing the entire loop and missing the way to the falls. In May of 2009 the falls were absolutely gorgeous, but you had to deal with some mud and creeks.
