completed the hike today, Feb 2007, seemed a lot longer than 6.2 miles. Some very strenous hikes up. But worth the trip. Hiking by the creek, was still chilly enough to have ice in the water.

Nice hike. Not another soul on the hike, even for a holiday weekend. All uphill for about the first 3 miles. Two vastly different feels to the hike. First pary was uphill, and then along the mountain ridge. Second half drops back into the creek valley and follows the creeks back to the start. Very enjoyable hike.
