This is a great hike, well marked (except on the far side of Bradley Mountain). If you don't know the hike stop by most Saturdays for Hiking with Tyrone at 9 am

Where possible (and allowed), step away from the marked trails and wander - there are some amazing sights to be seen behind tree lines, around corners, etc. Walk around the lower portions of the mountain for varied views, good photo ops. Be aware that private property abuts the mtn - I ended up in someone's field without crossing any fences. Also check out the bike trail, which runs all the way to Panola Mtn, with scenic spots and the South River along the way.

January 1, 2009. Intended to hike to Bradley and Arabia Peaks, but took the Forest Trail past Arabia Lake and then down the concrete trail almost to GA212/Brown Mill Road. 8+ miles total. The Forest Trail is lovely, very interesting rock outcroppings and plenty of small waterfalls. Very nice boardwalks, bridges and walkways throughout.

Grew up not too far from here. Great place to explore, maybe have a little picnic on the top. No tables/facilities.

Nice natural trail to the lake, but the paved trails can be heavily populated. Lack of parking a factor.

Been up and around Arabia mountain for about ten years now... I almost don't consider it a hike anymore! Pretty easy, I've never had trouble here, and it's a beautiful place. It's great if you have a dog, or want a nice place to relax for a few hours.
