Calhoun New Echota is located at Exit 317 (S. R. 225, The Joseph Vann Highway) on I-75. Go east of I-75 (left if you are heading south, right if you are heading north) to the entrance of the park, .5 miles from the interstate, on the right. Park in the ample lot, then enter the park through the Visitors Center. There is a modest fee charged for access to the park, and there is an excellent museum in the Visitors Center that features many exhibits on the Cherokee Indians, the Trail of Tears, and the Georgia Gold Rush.
