Dawsonville
Take GA 400 to Highway 53 (one traffic light north of the Outlet Mall). Turn left and continue to a stop sign in downton Dawsonville. Turn left, circle the historic courthouse and continue on 53. Bear right on Highway 183, the Elliot Family Parkway. At Highway 52 turn right and continue past Burt's Pumpkin Farm to Amicalola Falls State Park on the left. Just past the turn for the lodge is the long-term parking area on the left. Park and cross the street to the visitors center.
