Cleveland
Take US 129 north from Cleveland for 13 miles to GA 180. Turn right on Ga. 180 and continue for 7.3 miles to the left-hand turn for Brasstown Bald. Follow the signs to Brasstown Bald parking area. Track Rock Archeological Area (west end of the trail). Take US 129 north to Town Creek School Road. Turn right. Almost exactly 1 mile after the turn, Track Rock Road comes off to the left. After 3.8 miles, Track Rock Gap parking area is on the left. The small area is frequently filled with hikers and visitors to Track Rock Gap.

Blairsville
To get to the west end of the Arkaquah Trail: Take US 76 (The Georgia Mountain Parkway) west from Blairsville for 6 miles to Track Rock Gap Road. Turn right. Go 3 miles on Track Rock Gap Road to a parking lot 1/4 miles passed the gap. To get to the east (Brasstown Bald) end of the Arkaquah Trail: Take Highway 129 south, turning left on Highway 180. Travel just over 7.3 miles to the Brasstown Bald turn on the left. Be careful as this turn is made dangerous by speeders coming the other way. Follow GA 66 north to the federal parking area below the Bald.
